A Community Works Together

The best Economic Development is Economic Development that improves the quality of life for every member of the community. If a community member does not see the value, we will hear them out and work to find a solution.

Nobody understands a community better than the people that live in the community, therein our goal is to build a local team of developers, financiers, real estate agents, architects, and asset managers to deliver the housing an area needs the most. We simply facilitate discussion and bring new ideas from outside to consider.

We require thoughtful, open, and pragmatic dialogue. Unfortunately, building housing for people may be occasionally disruptive, but we maintain that disruption benefits everybody’s quality of life in the long run. It it does not, we seek to know why.

Some community leaders may be unwilling to consider new housing offerings. The prevailing challenges are that they may not want to live there or to assume the residents would not be positive members of the community. Our research does not support either of these claims, however, we are open to data-driven arguments and we welcome them. We seek to learn about your community too.

We are committed to improving quality of life for all residents. Therefore, we will start with what the local community defines as a high quality of life for their residents. We cannot presuppose how other communities value their own quality of life. Most importantly, we will track and communicate the entire program’s success towards those aims.

Effective development requires everybody marching to the same objective. We welcome all parties to discuss whether this type of development is right for this community—including potential residents. We will, however, introduce outside partners that will be critical to sustain an economy if needed.

The point of local regulation is to ensure the highest quality of life for residents. However, our research into local regulation often uncovers regulations that do not serve the public interest. When we uncover local regulations that do not serve the collective interest, we ask to amend the regulation to make sure it is creating the highest quality of life.

Our Economic Development Roadmap is our guide. Building an economy is exceptionally complex. Therefore, we will use each phase in the development cycle to ensure all parties are aligned before moving forward. We do not want any surprises when we start making residents’ homes.

Economic development that depletes the natural resources that have been critical to the high quality of life of the area is a non-starter. However, humans and nature can coexist and thrive indefinitely. The natural aspect of certain areas is critical to the overall quality of life.

Development, by its nature, is a state of change. Some people are resistant to change. Therein, we have found that communities that build a long term plan to their development at a pace that is acceptable to the local community sustain their growth the longest.
